Patrick D. Quirk

Patrick Quirk is Chief Executive Officer of Emptoris, an IBM company.  He has more than 25 years of management experience in the procurement, supply chain and ERP software business.  Under Quirk’s leadership, Emptoris has significantly grown its business, more than doubling employee headcount, entering more than 20 new global markets, and tripling its annual revenue over three years.  During his tenure, Emptoris more than doubled its customer base to include 350 Fortune 1000 and Global 2000 companies.  Quirk was also responsible for leading Emptoris through its acquisition and integration with IBM.  


Prior to joining Emptoris and IBM, Quirk was senior vice president for worldwide sales at GoldenGate Software and  general manager of PeopleSoft's Enterprise Supply Chain Management division.  At PeopleSoft, he managed the acquisition of JD Edwards, the largest software acquisition in ERP and PeopleSoft's history.   Earlier in his career, Quirk was EVP of worldwide operations at Keynote Systems Inc. and vice president of strategic accounts at i2 Technologies.
