Sharon Barnes, CEBS, is the HR Strategic Solutions Manager at Xchanging where she works with clients to develop and deliver Human Resources category strategies that create value for clients. Sharon has more than 25 years of experience in managing and sourcing Human Resources and Employee Benefits programs. She has an extensive background in employee benefits, global human resources procurement, health care and wellness consulting, account management and sales, global employee benefits design and management, and mergers and acquisitions.
Sharon has a Master of Jurisprudence, Health Law from Loyola University School of Law, Chicago, and Bachelor of Science, Psychology from University of Illinois at Chicago. She also holds certification degrees from the International Foundation of Employee Benefits Plan and the Wharton School of Business in Global Benefits Management, Retirement Plans Associate, Group Benefits Associate, Certified Employee Benefits Specialist, as well as Fellowship status through December 2015.
