Over the course of the last two years, Newell Rubbermaid has been implementing new technologies to enable their strategic sourcing processes and drive procurement performance to bring maximum value to the business. Paula Cushing, Head of the e-Sourcing Team at Newell Rubbermaid, will share her vision and objectives, and discuss her team's strategies in enabling key sourcing and procurement processes to deliver true procurement transformation. This session will also include an introduction by Emily Rakowski, Head of Procurement Marketing for SAP, to share key findings from a recent study on trends in procurement management including topics of collaboration, procurement reach, and sustainability practices.

About the presenters:

Paula Cushing, Head of e-Sourcing Team, Newell Rubbermaid

Paula has over 20 years of experience in both technical and manufacturing industries, developing sourcing strategies that improve operating efficiencies. She has a strong background in Supply Chain Management, e-Procurement, ERP systems implementations, and executing corporate initiatives that enable a variety of procurement solutions. She currently manages the e-Sourcing organization at Newell Rubbermaid.

Emily Rakowski, Head of Procurement Solution Marketing, SAP

Emily heads up the Procurement Solutions Marketing team at SAP. In this role, she drives the direction and market awareness for procurement portfolio solutions to ensure customer value and business growth. Emily brings over 15 years of experience in high tech marketing and management consulting to SAP, with prior procurement and sourcing-focused experience at several software companies and strategy consulting firms.
